Our commitment is to provide concrete and asphalt solutions that are environmentally friendly. We offer a wide range of services that are flexible to any project.

Our commercial services have met the concrete and asphalting needs throughout Melbourne for 20 years. We specialise in all formats of concrete and asphalt including but not limited to:

  • Permanent reinstatements
  • Patch works
  • Pothole repairs
  • Road maintenance
  • Footpaths
  • Crossovers
  • Coloured concrete
  • Exposed aggregate
  • Sporting Courts
  • Car parks
  • Switchboard footings
  • Substation kiosk slabs
  • Light pole footings

There are several asphalt patching techniques that may be used for filling cracks, pothole repairs in roads, trenching permanent reinstatements, parking lots, playgrounds, tennis courts, etc. When done the right way, patching helps prevent further deterioration and avoids huge repair expenses. Materials used may range from hot mix asphalt, to asphalt emulsion mixes and proprietary patching mixes with special blends. At Tradetech Services Australia, we will determine the patching regulations required by respective council’s and municipalities to ensure all standards are met with the highest quality.

The process of building or repairing the crossover is not that much different from a standard driveway. The main differences are that the crossover will have a downward slope leading to the street. A good driveway crossover must also allow room for water to enter the drains below the kerbs – so water doesn’t pool up.

You can also decide whether you want your driveway crossover to match your driveway or blend in with the footpath. This part is entirely up to you, but you must ensure that your local councils regulations allow it. – as well as be sure not to damage any public property like the road or footpath whilst doing it. Repairing or modifying the crossover is also a similar process to restoring a driveway or footpath – if the crossover resembles a footpath more than a driveway. TSA’s experienced reinstatement team have all the knowledge and council contacts to ensure a seamless installation and take the stress out of your hands.

Property owners and developers are responsible for ensuring that public footpaths are not damaged during construction works on private property. Any damage which does occur must be rectified. If you cause damage to a bitumen or concrete slab public footpath during building or construction work on private property, you should rectify that damage using bitumen or concrete to match the existing footpath. In this case, TSA can liaise with all relevant party’s and undertake the required work to satisfy your municipality specifications.

Coloured concrete/exposed aggregate can be used by itself or can be combined with aggregates to accomplish a driveway, carpark, footpath, sporting court or a unique polished concrete internal floor for your commercial project. Coloured concrete can be finished in many ways to create the look that will compliment your commercial/industrial project.

The basic procedure of installing coloured concrete/exposed aggregate is easy – which means less mess and less fuss. The surface is slip-resistant, non-skid, rugged and stays unaffected even if it experiences heavy traffic. Decorative aggregate is also available in various sizes and types. With a choice of unlimited variations in colours and textures, you can choose the look that suits your needs. Coloured concrete/exposed aggregate has excellent street appeal and will enhance the value of your prized asset.

The highly experienced concreting and asphalting team at Tradetech Services Australia can provide you with many cost effective and aesthetically pleasing options to suit all styles and budgets.

Switchboard footings, sub-station footings and light pole footings have specific and stringent regulations that must be adhered to as they are support systems for important assets. At Tradetech Services Australia, we are VESI (Victorian Electrical Supply Industry) accredited, which means we have all the required qualifications, certificates and industry experience to ensure that all concrete footings and foundations that we prepare and provide for your project are safe, sound and secure.
